Jasmine is a design engineer studying cs & neuroscience at uci. Deeply interested in human-ai interaction, frontier tech (defense, space, autonomy), and ww2 history.
Spent my childhood playing Minecraft instead of homework. Learned how to build from scratch with limited resources and iterate fast.
Designed 60 assets on Roblox with the chromebook my high school gave us. Sold 2,000 assets in 4 months.
Became fascinated by military history after taking AP Euro with Mr.Baratti (he has an insane artifact collection!) Inspired me to enter defense.
Opened handmade streetwear business. Sold to 40 states and 10 countries and made 5 figures.
First taste of startup culture at my High School's Startup Incubator. Designed and built the E-commerce platform from scratch.
Won 1st Place nationally in Product Design.
Landed first design internship at a mediterranean startup scaling to a B2B subsidiary. Built their entire branding from scratch.
Joined Design at UCI. Hosted 24 workshops to 500+ people and judged at 6 competition events.
Tried my hand at using design for Social Good by joining the largest Student-led Pro Bono Org in the U.S. Led UX Research for an NPO.
Took one small step out of my comfort zone and one giant leap into space tech. Designed a mission for a rover landing on the moon.
Won Grand Prize at Berkeley AI Hackathon ($68,000) and accepted into the SkyDeck Incubator Program (1% acceptance rate). Conversational AI Agents for emergency response.

Super curious about novel interfaces and human-ai collaboration & autonomy in unpredictable environments. Some things I've worked on:
‣ decision-making software for the military @ palantir
‣ conversational AI agents to reduce response times for 911 call centers @ berkeley skydeck
‣ adaptive reasoning system and mission control software for spacesuits @ nasa jsc
‣ telemetry dashboard & autonomy stack for electric race cars @ fsae
I went to a hackathon every weekend of my freshman year of uni. Won 15/17 hackathons and flew 3,000+ miles.
I hosted workshops, organized the largest design competition in Socal, and met interesting folks along the way.
For reference, I like matcha lattes with light ice and 2 shots of espresso 🍵
